After 40 years working as an actor on stages throughout New England, I am honored to have you help me UnCork a wonderful new theatrical journey that will include fabulous"Pop-Up" Musicals, Staged Readings, and Classic Comedies and Dramas that will allow our audiences to revisit shows they grew up loving, laughing and crying to.
Theater UnCorked’s main vision is “Collaboration" with Artists, Theater Companies, Technicians, Production Members, Directors, Writers and our audiences, young and old. Producing Artistic Director
Shana Dirik is an Irne Award winning actor from the Boston area who, after performing 40 years on the stages of New England, is excited to bring her unique vision of the theater to her new company, Theater UnCorked! She is thrilled to be presenting her second production of TUC's inaugural Season with a Staged Reading of “One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest”. Her first "Pop-Up Musical" production of “Sweeney Todd in Concert” as the Producing Artistic Director, was critically acclaimed by reviewers and audiences alike where she reprised her IRNE winning role as Mrs. Lovett along with a very talented production crew and cast. She is honored to bring her vision to the Boston theater scene and is thrilled to be able to "UnCork the Artistic Posibilities!"
Production Marketing, Front of House Manager. Ozlem Uluoglu moved to Boston from Istanbul, Turkey in 1997. She studied Hotel Management in Istanbul University then Business Management in Hesser College. She proceeded to work in a fast, upscale environments, assuring exceptional customer service in luxury hotels. She has been in hotel business since 1993 and held management positions for over 20 years in the Stonehedge Inn in Tyngsboro, Seaport Hotel and World Trade Center in Boston and currently is at the Andover Inn on the campus of Phillips Academy in Andover, MA. Ozlem’s great passion is to make people feel special while they are away from their home. She loves to travel, and is interested in arts through the perspective of the audience. She is honored to serve as a Production Marketing Liason/Front of House Manager Liason with Theater UnCorked to show her expertise in this area. She is married with two children and lives in North Andover
Production Marketing, Front of House Manager. Born in Istanbul,Turkey; Asli received her B.A. degree in English Language and Literature & Renaissance Arts. She organized first blockbuster Picasso-Matisse exhibit in Istanbul, Turkey in collaboration with Coskun & Co., a London based gallery. Even though she had a promising career in Roche Pharmaceuticals, her passion for design motivated a move to Philadelphia where she obtained an MFA degree by completing "Museum Exhibition Planning and Design" at the University of the Arts. In her senior year, she was awarded the Von Hess Scholarship for an internship at the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum.. Asli is currently director of exhibits at (JCI) and specializes in marketing, exhibit design and communications for major real estate developers and shopping centers.

Most recently seen as McMurphy in TUC’s Staged Reading of Cuckoo’s Nest.Actor and musician, Gene co-wrote and starred in the one-man show GOD SAVE THE QUEEN: PAUL LYNDE '79. Credits include: Dionysus in THE BACCHAE at the ART ; THE LILY'S REVENGE and THE ROCKY HORROR SHOW (Brad Majors, Elliot Norton Award nomination). HEDWIG AND THE ANGRY INCH; AIDA (Radames), BLOODY BLOODY ANDREW JACKSON (Andrew Jackson), THE FANTASTICKS (El Gallo), BEAUTY AND THE BEAST (The Beast), Ryan Landry's Gold Dust Orphans. Gene writes and performs original music with his band The Future Starlets. "I've been a fan of Shana's since I first saw her in XANADU. I've since had the pleasure of working with her several times and came to know her as a talented, driven professional, and a great friend.
